4 out of 5 stars Some good stuff, but too short   December 10, 2009

I agree with the review I read above mine -- a bit cute, but not what I expected or hoped for, and certainly a bit short. I enjoy reading all Red Sox books, all baseball trivia books in general to be exact, so I was not too disappointed because it did contain a fair amount of the usual suspects in terms of questions any true fan would expect to see. I do, however, strongly suggest anyone looking for a Red Sox trivia book to consider Bill Nowlin's latest effort -- the man is a machine when it comes to writing on his beloved Red Sox, and he has penned many of the best books on the subject. I just picked up his latest -- it's a different take on trivia because it gives you the backstory and some clever insight that not everyone has access to, not to mention pictures courtesy of the Boston Red Sox, and taken as a whole this makes, at least in my opinion, his title the Boston trivia book to buy -- it is titled: Boston Red Sox IQ: The Ultimate Test of True Fandom (Volume 1)

Got as little gift for hubby since he had surgery. It was a little note book but inexpensive so not to upset over purchase. Was not what I expected but Cute little gift.
